Vintage Sterling Silver E. Byrne Livingston Modernist Cufflinks. The cufflinks are in excellent estate condition and ready to wear. They are both hallmarked “Livingston Sterling”. The cufflinks have earned the perfect patina over the decades.
Estelle Byrne Livingston was a very early American modernist silversmith and jeweler who was active in 1930’s through the 1950’s. She taught at Hunter College in the 1930’s and had her work exhibited at the 1937 “Contemporary Industrial and Hand Wrought Silver” exhibition in Brooklyn and has her work on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The cufflinks measure about .75″ by .55″ and together they weigh a total of 12.7 grams
