The Crown indicates gold, the 18 for 18K gold, the anchor for the English city of Birmingham, the lower case e is a date code for the year it was assayed 1904/1905. The J and S, each inside its own shield is the makers mark for Birmingham Jeweler John Silverton who worked at Summer Hill Terrace and later Frederick St. during the late Victorian / Edwardian era.
